What data we process and why

Online booking: name, phone, e-mail, chosen service, appointment time and note — only to record and confirm the appointment (steps prior to entering into a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The appointment is stored in the Terminuj booking system and both you and the hairdresser receive a confirmation by e-mail.

Protection against form abuse: the server briefly keeps a shortened IP address (without its last part), the time of sending and a fingerprint of the form content (not the text itself), to detect automated and repeated submissions. These counters are stored in an Upstash database (see below) and are deleted automatically no later than 24 hours after their last use.

Website chat (automated assistant): the text of your questions and the replies during the conversation is sent to Anthropic to generate an answer from the content of this website. Recognised e-mail addresses, phone numbers and national ID numbers are removed automatically before sending — please do not type personal data into the chat. We do not store the conversation on the server or in your browser; it disappears when you close the page. To prevent abuse, the server briefly keeps a shortened IP address and the number of questions (Upstash). Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering visitors' questions about our services (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); for questions about an appointment, steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).

Running the website: the hosting provider records technical data (IP address, time, page address) in server logs.

Who we share data with

Vercel Inc. — website hosting (servers in and outside the EU; transfers based on standard contractual clauses). Visitor measurement with Vercel Web Analytics only with your consent.

Vassweb s. r. o. — the Terminuj booking system (storing the appointment and your contact details), as a processor.

Resend, Inc. — delivery of booking confirmation e-mails (USA; transfers based on standard contractual clauses).

Upstash, Inc. — counters protecting the form against abuse (shortened IP address and a fingerprint of the form content, for at most 24 hours; database in Frankfurt, US company; transfers based on standard contractual clauses).

Anthropic, PBC — replies of the website chat (question and reply text; USA; transfer based on standard contractual clauses). The chat is operated for us by Vassweb s. r. o. as processor; Anthropic is a sub-processor.

Cloudflare, Inc. — only if Turnstile form protection is switched on (checking that a person is making the booking; USA; transfers based on standard contractual clauses).

Visitor measurement and consent record

Only with your consent in the cookie banner: Vercel Web Analytics — page address, where you came from, device type, browser and approximate location; no cookies, visitors are told apart only by a temporary fingerprint of the request, discarded after 24 hours. Purpose: how many people visit the website and which pages they read. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 109(8) of Slovak Act No. 452/2021); you can withdraw it at any time via “Cookie settings” in the website footer.

The record of your choice in the cookie banner (random choice ID, time, categories, banner version, language, page address — no IP address) serves as proof of consent (Art. 7(1) GDPR); it is stored in the Upstash database for at most 4 years.

How long

We keep the details of your booking in the booking system for no longer than 36 months from your last visit. On request we will delete them sooner — just write to info@ravenhair.eu.

We keep e-mail correspondence with us in our mailbox for as long as it is needed to handle your request; at your request, we will delete it.

The form-protection counters are deleted after 24 hours at the latest, the record of your choice in the cookie banner after 4 years at the latest, and the cookie “cookie_suhlas” after 12 months.

Chat: we do not store the conversation. Under its terms, Anthropic deletes questions and replies within 30 days at the latest (longer only for violations of its usage policy or where required by law). Chat question counters (shortened IP address) are deleted after 24 hours at the latest.

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object. Just contact us by e-mail at info@ravenhair.eu.

You can lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (dataprotection.gov.sk).
